Riverside House is proud to announce the newest addition to its Board of Directors, Bishop Billy Baskin. Bishop Baskin will serve on our Spiritual Life committee.
A native of Florida, Bishop Baskin is a community leader who currently serves as the full-time pastor of New Way Fellowship Praise and Worship Center. Known as a modern day Barnabas throughout South Florida and by his congregation as a motivator and encourager, he has pastored three churches and was instrumental in establishing mission in Zimbabwe, Russia and Johannesburg, South Africa.
In addition, much like Riverside House, he is committed to the restoration and preservation of the family according to God’s plan. Over the past several decades he has discipled hundreds of men. For example, in 1982 Bishop Baskin founded the Mighty Men’s Ministry of New Way Fellowship teaching the men how to come into the fullness of God.
Bishop Baskin received his doctorate and master’s degrees in ministry from South Florida Theological Center. He completed undergraduate studies at Florida Memorial College. He also holds a master’s degree in education from Florida Atlantic University.
“We are blessed to have a dedicated teacher of God’s Word on our board to assist in our mission,” said Cleveland Bell III, executive director of Riverside House.
