At Riverside House, we are always moved by the kindness of those in our community who step up to make a difference. Today, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Zaria Vickers from Girl Scout Troop #14334 for her generous donation of blankets to our homeless residents.
With the cooler temperatures, something as simple as a warm blanket can mean the world to those without a home. Thanks to Zaria’s thoughtful gesture, our residents now have an extra layer of warmth and, just as importantly, the comfort of knowing that people care.
If you feel inspired to help, we are always in need of blankets and warm attire for men. Every donation makes a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve. If you’d like to contribute, please reach out to Carmen Bell at cjbell@riverside-house.org.
Thank you, Zaria, for being a true example of kindness in action! Your generosity reminds us all that small acts of goodwill can create lasting change.
