Why Riverside House

More than a job,
a mission that matters

For over 50 years, Riverside House has helped men and women returning from incarceration successfully transition back into the community. Our staff is the engine behind that work — delivering case management, counseling, employment support, spiritual care, and crisis intervention in a structured, faith-based residential setting. Every role here contributes directly to reducing recidivism, rebuilding families, and strengthening Miami-Dade County.

We operate as a federally contracted Residential Reentry Center under the Bureau of Prisons, as well as an Emergency Shelter Program in partnership with the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust. That means the work is serious, the standards are high, and the impact is measurable.
