We make successful reentry possible with a clear, supportive process that helps individuals transition from incarceration to independence.

Get Referred & Initial Placement
Referrals come through the Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Probation Office, Pre-Trial Services, Miami-Dade Homeless Trust, or other authorized partners. We coordinate intake and review program expectations.

Assessment & Onboarding
We conduct comprehensive evaluation and create personalized reentry plans. We guide you through every step of the transition with full support, clear communication, and individualized goal-setting.

Programming Plan & Action
We create a reentry plan tailored to your specific needs, challenges, employment goals, housing requirements, family situation, recovery needs, and spiritual development objectives for lasting growth.

Graduate & Ongoing Support
We stay in touch regularly through Riverside Reentry 2.0 to provide consistent, compassionate assistance. Three-year alumni follow-up ensures lasting success during the critical post-release period.

Safe & Comfortable Temporary Housing
120-bed residential facility providing secure, structured environment with 24/7 supervision and support during critical transition period. Three nutritious meals daily, laundry access, and basic needs met so participants can focus on transformation.

Comprehensive Support & Programming
Case management, life skills training, employment preparation, substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, family reunification, spiritual development, and educational opportunities — addressing the whole person for lasting change.

Preparation For Independent Living
Job placement assistance with employer partnerships, housing search support, family reunification services, and alumni follow-up through Riverside Reentry 2.0. Support doesn't end at program completion — we walk alongside every graduate toward lasting independence.

We provide comprehensive residential reentry services including safe housing, case management, life skills training, employment preparation, substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, family reunification support, spiritual development, educational opportunities, and three-year alumni aftercare through Riverside Reentry 2.0.
All referrals come through authorized partners including the Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Probation Office, Pre-Trial Services, Miami-Dade Homeless Trust, and other community agencies. We do not accept direct applications.
Riverside House has achieved a 95% success rate, meaning 95% of graduates do not return to prison. This far exceeds national averages where 1 in 4 inmates reoffend within 3 years.
Average stay for in-house residential participants is 101 days, while home confinement participants average 389 days. Length of stay varies based on individual needs and federal requirements.
Yes. We provide resume development, mock interviews, job readiness training, employer partnerships, and direct job placement assistance. 66% of graduates leave with employment secured.
Yes. We facilitate structured family visits, provide communication coaching, and support family reunification throughout the program. We conducted 370 family reunification visits in the past year.
Graduates receive three-year alumni support through Riverside Reentry 2.0, including day reporting center access, support groups, case management, peer mentorship, and ongoing resources during the highest-risk period for recidivism.
We're funded through federal contracts with the Bureau of Prisons ($42+ million since 2005), Miami-Dade Homeless Trust contracts, private philanthropy, faith partnerships, and community support.
Yes. As a non-profit, Riverside House conducts annual audits, maintains all required filings, and upholds financial accountability standards consistent with federal contracting requirements and non-profit transparency best practices.
Spiritual development programming is voluntary and non-denominational. We offer Bible studies, chapel services, prayer support, and pastoral care for participants who desire faith-based support as part of their transformation journey.
