Riverside House President & CEO Mr. Cleveland Bell was a guest speaker at Revelation Community Education Center’s 30th Anniversary event.
Revelation Community Center was officially incorporated in 1993. At the time of inception, it offered homeschooling and tutoring. Over its thirty-year service to the Miami community, the organization grew to offer after-school and summer camp programs, and a full middle school day program. It also partnered with DCPS-Title I and Title V through the NCLB Act. Revelation Community Center’s library collections grew significantly and the organization secured computers servers and additional media resources. In 2021, the organization moved to Carol City United Methodist Church, where it is now exclusively open for summer camp, community workshops, online tutoring, and book fairs. The organization is led by Director Dr. Joyce Reid, a former team member and current supporter of Riverside House Christian Ministries.
