A big thank you to Mary Faison and Sugar 4 Kids for their generous donation of back-to-school items and book bags! Because of their support, we were able to distribute nine backpacks to five of our residents, helping their children start the school year off right.
At Riverside House, we assist men and women in making a successful transition from prison to the community through a variety of programs that emphasize critical success factors such as employment, life skills, substance abuse counseling, and family reunification. Donations such as this one help our formerly incarcerated residents support their families and unity.
